Soundcrash presents… Low End Theory

Low End Theory London

Soundcrash is proud to present the first London takeover from the legendary LA club night Low End Theory featuring the resident crew in full plus resident in spirit Kutmah. The club night draws hundreds of fans every Wednesday to the Airliner in Lincoln Heights, and is known for supporting a slew of visionaries and promising breakthrough acts.

Mixing up with a blend of futuristic Hip Hop and experimental low end bass, the LET is a hub of the beat community and a place where heads meet weekly in LA, monthly in San Francisco and quarterly in Japan.

Low End Theory’s five resident performers include Daddy Kev, Gaslamp Killer, D-Styles, Nobody and Nocando and invited along, as a special guest, for this London appearance is one of the capital’s finest, Kutmah.

Pitchfork on Daddy Kev:

“One of the Los Angeles underground’s most visionary producers… His style exemplifies the steady bleeding of hip-hop culture into the more highbrow aspects of art.”

LA Weekly on the Gaslamp Killer:

“He is the fork in the socket, the tribal drum leader disguised as the DJ, the John Belushi of dance music.”

If you know LET already, then you have probably bought your ticket already and if you don’t and have never been to one of their nights, like me, then you’re more than likely aiming to buy your ticket VERY soon. With a lineup like that it can only mean one thing – a very special beat-orientated night at London’s Village Underground.
