EXIT festival is back for 2012 and once again it’s shaping up to be a belter. Confirmed headliners include Guns N’ Roses, Duran Duran, New Order and Erykah Badu already. The 4 day festival held at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia looks to continue its quest as being one of the finest festivals in Europe, both lineup and location-wise.
Since 2001, EXIT has been held at the Petrovaradin Fortress, which lies on the right bank of the Danube in Novi Sad. The foundations of the southern part of the fortress were set by Charles Eugene De Croy on October 18, 1692.
The fortress has an underground tunnel system 16 kilometers long. The unique location contributes to the atmosphere of the festival, providing outstanding acoustics. After centuries of turbulent history, the fortress is on the list of protected monuments as a historical, cultural and artistic center of Novi Sad.

Guns N’ Roses, Duran Duran, New Order, Erykah Badu, Plan B, Avicii, Richie Hawtin, Gossip, Wolfmother, Luciano, Laurent Garnier LBS, Miss Kittin, Hercules & Love Affair, The Toy Dolls, Skindred, Little Dragon, Felix Da Housecat, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Azari& III, Buraka Som Sistema, Sneaky Soundsystem, Art Department, Maceo Plex, Reboot live, Brodinksi, Kenny Larkin, Robert Dietz, Citizens!, D.R.I., When Saints Go Machine, Maayan Nidam, Street Dogs, Lone, Pariah, Teengirl Fantasy live and The Chain.
