Outlaws Feat. Bez Lennon: It’s Not French, But It’s F*cking ‘Aving It

2008 finally brings a new mix CD from Bristol UK’s Outlaws. The name’s “It’s Not French, But It’s F*cking ‘Aving It” and it features 54 tracks crammed onto one disc for your pleasure! Taking in house, electro, techno, old school rave, soul and good old rock & roll – this is a true Outlaw’s night out on the tiles.

Outlaws are one of the star acts on the acclaimed Modular DJ Agency (run by super hip Modular Records), alongside the awesome Bang Gang and Van She Tech. Besides sharing an DJ agency, Bang Gang are also lucky enough to co-habit a studio in Sydney with Outlaws / Bez Lennon and as you can imagine they’ve also shared a few nights out on the Donkey Dust together.

2008 is shaping up to be a killer Outlaw year, with residencies at Starfuckers in Sydney, Australia (Big Stereos best party of 2007 behind the Daft Punk tour and Outlaws supported Daft Punk in 2007 too!) as well as Massive Attack’s club Tube in Bristol, UK. There’s a homecoming gig on the way at The Glastonbury Festival in June too.

Production duties are also on a roll with remixes already completed and awaiting release for The Presets, Tricky, Toecutter and Sony’s newest signings Cassette Kids. Original material is also on the way in the way of “Magic E” and “We Won’t Stop Partying For Anyone” (the songs are as good as the names by the way!)

Rumour has it Outlaws will also be back on the radio airwaves this year, it’s been too long since the cult show Friday nights on London’s Kiss FM brought frenetic cut up style mixing to a mass audience. Besides, radio’s fun isn’t it? Even though it means turning out an awesome mix every week.
