Martelo recently did a mix for BBC 1Xtra, with his “best of the noughties”. It’s a ruddy slammer as my friend Tom would say. Here’s what Martelo had to say:

“25 minute mix covering my take on the best of the 00’s.. 2000-2010. I was asked to do a mix covering the last ten years of UK ‘urban/underground/black/whatever’ music for Toddla T who was filling in for Ras Kwame on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra. So its probably not as comprehensive as it could/should have been but I could easily have gotten super OCD and obsessive over this, trying to find old records and CD singles at my mums house etc etc.. but I didnt. this is what i did do.”
