Combining grimy synth distortion with old school hip-hop, “Everybody Wants To Be a DJ” and “Hold Up (Wait a Minute)” might be his most original and creative tracks yet.

“Everybody Wants To Be a DJ”, featuring samples from De La Soul and DJ Shadow, aims to be more than just an aggressive banger but a commentary on the trend of every poser and their cousin trying to jump on the electro bandwagon. Oh, DJing is easy? If filtering in and out of tracks is DJing……

“Hold Up (Wait a Minute)”, featuring samples Miami Bass legends Gucci Crew and the classic Lyn Collins’ “Think About It” break, is a short-and-sweet massacre with an intro perfect for blending — gotta help out those poser DJs — and filthy metal drop.
