Drum and Bass Classics – Part 2

Posted on | February 8, 2009 by James | Comments Off

Dark bridge

Back this week with more classic DnB pressure… Let me assure you that this week has been hard to follow up on last week’s classics post – but let’s get involved!

This track from Calibre and (the man) High Contrast was blogged over on motel de moka’s jungle post last year and is definitely a classic!

Aphrodite is a must in this classics post simply because I didn’t post him last time – and he’s HEAVY! I’m going with KMag’s pick on this classic track from him, although Woman That Rolls is definitely up there in a close second…

Logistics is the man, Blackout is ruffness business… this is the lights off, get nasty track – DL and smash out!

MC Jakes is the don, get him on a TC track and you get Titanic dirt and guaranteed classic…

Finally, this John B track has a ripper of a bassline and break and piano and vocal – SICK! “Hold me tight don’t ever let me go!”

And that wraps up Part 2… Thanks for the feedback on Part 1 from all sorts of people including jonthebeef… And big respect to KMag who started all this classics mess off! Check out KMag’s Colin on twitter… good stuff on his feed.

Keep it dirty,

J

ps. the dark dark photo is by Daniel Gebhart and is cc.
