Monday night catch up

Posted on | May 12, 2008 by Mark |

Here’s a whole host of tunes that have been rockin’ FMLB Towers this weekend and into this week.

First up, two new bangers from the Ed Banger camp. Spank Rock and Feadz mix it up a little, followed by a Krazy Baldhead simmerer…

Next up we have Correct Effect. CE is part of the Robot Soap DJ Crew from Manchester and get ready for the first in a series of podcasts coming very soon - the first being from Correct Effect!

“direct from the little underground rooms of Manchester, courtesy of myself (Correct Effect) along with the support of Mat Payne, Bob Swans and the rest of the Robot Soap DJ crew (Gareth Wood, Elliot Smith, and Paulo T)”

The first is based on a classic house style, fused with the new Institubes style, Surkin, Bobmo etc.

The second is a heavy distorted electro style based on the ed banger/boys noize sound, with more of a rolling beat.

High Contrast, legend. Yes, these are a bit old now - but figured I’d make a mixed bag of a post and share some classics from the Essential Mix he did back in 2007. These own.

Bit Thief provides us with an electro slammer of the original “Slam” by rap badboys, Onyx. Loved the original and this rips it up a bit.
