IDC - Bolshy Beats

Posted on | April 22, 2008 by Mark |

IDC’s debut album “Overthrow The Boss Class” is out in July and includes the 2007 singles ‘Stomp’ (”Coming on strong like the snotty nosed, unruly bastard child of Alter Ego’s ‘Rocker’” - iDJ 5 stars ) and ‘Akai Elvis’ (”you can instantly hear why it’s getting the same kind of response LCD Soundsystem’s “Losing My Edge” got before it reached saturation levels” - DJ Mag)

International DJ magazine call IDC “the future king of electronic rock’n'roll”, DJ Mag famously said “he makes music that sounds like a washing machine on crack - no wonder the likes of Mark Moore, Erol Alkan, Pete Tong and XFM’s John Kennedy are all over his tunes” and Mixmag tag IDC “the one-man electro machine who had two hits last year with ‘Stomp’ and ‘Akai Elvis’”.

IDC DJ dates include Together at Turnmills London, Zouk Singapore, Stealth Nottingham, Volar Hong Kong, Fabrik Madrid and many headline appearances in the 3,000 capacity main room of Razzmatazz in Barcelona amongst others. Festival appearances include Bestival in the UK, Summercase in Spain and Sziget in Budapest.
