Benga - Breezeblock Mix

Posted on | January 21, 2008 by Mark |

I went to the Dubstep Forum awards last week to go and check out some d’step seeing as it’s been quite a while. After being made to wait in the queue, even with g-list, we eventually got in after 40 mins or so… I do love Herbal, but the sound was NOT loud enough - how can the sound be low for this music. The thing is, I woke up the next morning and it felt like my right ear was bleeding, so perhaps it was all in my mind.

Anyhow, main gripe was that I wasn’t feeling the music so much. It was all a bit garage-y and to top it off there were MC’s. I’ve never been a big fan of MC’s and last Thursday affirmed this. Spoiling pretty much all the tracks - we left early.

So searching for a bit of a fix - to try and get me over this and reinstate my faith in dubstep, I came across this post on Nialler9 and figured I’d give it a go, and this, as they guys over there confirm aswell, is what I am used to. Electro tinged, heavy, dark and rolling and most of all just how I like it; WOBBLY! So tuned in, turned up, here I am - smiling, once again. BENGA - You rock it.

More Breezeblocks over at Freshlymixed, which is now FREE - go forth like vikings and pillage the mixes!
